Nel dicembre 2009 la session band farcen decide di continuare a suonare come band ufficiale, e così si formano gli STRIVE. La band inizierà ufficialmente le attività il 18 agosto sponsorizzando un live allo Shibuya O-WEST chiamato 「A goal to strive for… Vol.1」. Oltre a loro parteciperanno band come SCAPEGOAT, Tu[ism], V-last. e Neo.
